So I started saving areas and the more areas I save the slower the system gets. It should be just saving these areas to the hard drive and not loading them into memory or whatever it’s doing to slow down the process each time you add a new area.
I mean I’m at the point where I’m waiting 15+ minutes just for the cashe system to open because I want to add more areas to my cashe. I set aside 400 GB for saving areas I want to fly to often. I think I have maybe used 50 GB and it’s almost useless at this point.
Do you have the trees, or just the ground texture?
I don’t see a option to remove trees.
Before or even still now, on area with manual cache, you only had ground texture and autogen, absolutely no trees
Because that is not part of the system I don’t understand how that would effect anything as it’s not an option. All you can do is cashe Low, Medium, High. So I’ve been making areas around airports on medium about 10 miles. And it usually ends up being 1+ GB then I cashe the Airport about 2 miles outside the runway boundies that ends up being about 2 - 3 GB. But when I go to add more it is so slow at this point it’s unusable.
Have a look there : Manual Cache For Sale?
Still the same as before, no trees, no AI treated texture.
It’s useless… Great marketing Asobo…
So Manual Cashe is useless then… That’s great. So I have wasted a ton of time.
