Mapping Reverse Prop

 Thank you using the Bug section, using templates provided will greatly help the team reproducing the issue and ease the process of fixing it.

Are you using Developer Mode or made changes in it?

When mapping reverse prop to a button on joystick for turbo props…moves prop to feather only…does not move control into reverse detent.

Have you disabled/removed all your mods and addons?

Which aircraft are you trying to manipulate?

I know not many aircraft in the sim have reversing props.

Part of the problem here is that there isn’t a keybind for feathering. It seems, as you’ve noted, the reverse prop keybind is actually a feather keybind.

I know on the DC-6 for the reverse prop lever PMDG had to connect it to the water rudder keybind (if memory serves) since there wasn’t an actual one for reverse prop.

I only use reverse thrust in a couple of planes (930 and 208), which is de facto reverse prop, and it seems to work fine using it this way. Not exactly what you were looking for, but it will at least give you reverse thrust in those aircraft (and maybe others I haven’t tested yet). Located under “power management/throttle”, “toggle throttle reverse thrust”. Normally have to pull the thrust lever all the way back before toggling it, then push the controller thrust lever up again (the graphic will show the lever moving into beta/reverse).
Regards
