If you were able to purchase them on Stream, you would most likely get an Itemized Receipt (as is the law in the USA), but when you buy on the MS-marketplace, you have no formal written receipt of what you have purchased, just a record of what you have spent.
More amazing than you do not get a receipt, is that MS is selling items in the USA, without you being able to get an itemized receipt for your purchase – and getting away with it … 
The only item I actually have a description of what I have purchased on the Marketplace, and what I paid for it, is the actual MSFS 2020 – all other items purchased are only described by the price paid.
I therefore have no way of proving what I have purchased, should my ownership come into question — (More precisely – License to use, as nobody OWNS the software they buy these days)
I also cannot see any way to “Request” an itemized receipt for a MS Marketplace purchase.
EXAMPLE
No description as to what was purchased, and if one clicks on the ORDER HELP, it’s a non working link !!
There is an Order Number, but no obvious way to get and further order information based on that Order Number.
So, NO BIG SURPRISE, I have stopped buying anything on the MS-Store !!
