Now that WideView is out, I believe networking may become a more popular option for simmers looking to boost performance. Unfortunately, though some developers allow a single licensed product to be installed on multiple networked devices, currently MSFS and the Marketplace do not. Therefore, it would be great if we could get this ability going forward. It would be nice to hear Asobo or Microsoft’s position on the matter.
that would be 100% a MS Issue to write to their internal support for marketplace.
Asobo could assist the push to allow it, but, ultimately that is 100% a MS Call.
I’m waiting on a response from MS. Will post the reply here.
I am still waiting on a reply from MS or Asobo on this issue. Marketplace orders cannot be downloaded on other PCs in a networked sim. Networked PCs are the only way this sim will work for multi-screen users given the current performance limitations.
Can MS or Asobo allow people using networks to download purchased content in the Marketplace on other PCs within their home network?
Please understand, this is an exception allowed by many developers currently partnered to MSFS providing their content is purchased outside of the Marketplace.
Please stick to this thread for your question instead of making duplicates on the same topic. Thanks.
There has been no response from MS or Asobo. Is the issue being considered?
