Fixes tried include: reinstall msfs 2020 ( digital purchase MS Store), Windows 10, XBox Win 10 app, cleared all caches, MS account billing credit card reset. Note I am on a PC running the xbox win 10 app.
Other fix attempts: clear all community items from the game, run not as Admin, and run not in developer mode. Same microsoft sign in used for account, x box, msfs 2020, and MS Store. MS store updates were done.
Search of internet turned up only one reference to PEX- NOT FOUND message by a gamer (in 2017) using an XBOX with console. Same exact message and he resolved it by (in his own words) downloading and reinstall software for console several times and at last it worked after the correct “plug-in” was found. I have reinstalled the xbox app for win10 several times.
