Marketplace Situation .... from a Dev View

It seems to me the core issue is the Marketplace is under-resourced people wise & process wise (given the obvious delays), and perhaps there are also technical reasons - though that shouldn’t be an issue for Microsoft.

That’s a business decision though, and we have no insight into those.

What I don’t get is why shovelware developers are able to continually get stuff released ahead of developers going for a higher quality. I don’t have a problem with shovelware (that’s a valid business model), but the processes should be applied evenly across the board and they are plainly not.

Letting shovelware through the quality filter because you don’t have to test it also makes a mockery of any quality standards and brand cachet that the marketplace/msfs hopes to have, or claims to have.
It’s a good practice to have some lower quality content so the good stuff looks even better, but how about a bit of balance!

It’s not like Microsoft is hurting for cash.
