I don’t think it’s that simple, the more intricate a product is the more susceptible it becomes to review … my wife works for a quality/safety certification institute and I can tell you that many of the better products take considerably longer to test and certify than it does for the simple stuff. She could tell you of good, even fantastic products that have to be re-presented half a dozen times.
