Once again, I find that the marketplace is not available, ATC is almost always silent, and there is nothing like the amount of chatter you’d expect to see in the ATC window.
I’ve tried switching off all the data settings and switching them back on.
Is it just me, or do other people have these issues?
I almost never look in the Marketplace, but I also suffered from total ATC silence a while back. I found there is an additional ATC setting in your assistance options. You will find it under Options → Assistance Options → User Experience → ATC voices. Check this is set to ON.
Cycle the Data Options all OFF then ON.
Then try logging out of the sim and back in.

Just to be clear, the issue isn’t just that I don’t hear ATC voices. There are no ATC messages in the text window. ATC is not doing anything.
I suspect that this is linked to the marketplace being greyed out.
Whether or not someone uses the marketplace, it being greyed out suggests something isn’t right with data connection to the MS servers and there no sign of any other issues with my internet connection.
