A Friendly Reminder
Our Mini Fly-Ins are carefully planned so that each category enjoys a similar flight time while allowing everyone to arrive together at the destination. We encourage pilots to join from the published departure airports and enjoy the routes we’ve curated for the event, as this is a big part of what makes the Mini Fly-In experience unique and enjoyable for everyone.
We understand that real life sometimes gets in the way, which is why Category 4 provides a later departure option for those who can’t make the earlier start. Whenever possible, we’d love to have everyone join from the beginning and enjoy the full experience of the event as it was designed.
Why Mini Fly-Ins?
Whether your passion is vintage classics, propliners, modern airliners or business jets, there’s a category for everyone. The Mini Fly-In format lets pilots enjoy their favourite aircraft while sharing the excitement of a coordinated arrival with fellow community members.
This week we’ll be converging on the spectacular harbour city of Sydney, with its world-famous skyline, Harbour Bridge and Opera House providing an unforgettable backdrop for our arrival into Kingsford Smith Airport.
Fly Together, Fly Massive
