Bush Club 32 – Italy Week: Dolomites & City Tour! 
G’day Bush Club pilots!
Italy Week continues!
For today’s Tuesday Bush Club we’re picking up the pace for a spectacular tour through north-eastern Italy, combining dramatic Alpine scenery, beautiful countryside and three of Italy’s photogrammetry cities.
We’ll be spending some time orbiting and exploring Bolzano, Udine and Trieste, giving everyone a chance to take in the scenery before we push on to the next destination.
Between the cities, we’ll head up into the Dolomites, where the terrain gets considerably more interesting! Expect mountain valleys, towering peaks and some fantastic views as we work our way across northern Italy.
Aircraft
This one will be a little faster than our usual Bush Club adventures.
We’re targeting a GA aircraft capable of approximately 170 KIAS.
And since we’re in Italy, there was really only one choice for me…
I’ll be flying the Falco F8L!
Bring whatever GA aircraft you like, provided it can comfortably maintain the pace.
We’ll be climbing to around 9,000 ft through the Dolomites, so if you’re flying a piston aircraft, make sure it allows you to lean the mixture at altitude. Turboprops and other suitable turbine GA aircraft are also welcome.
