Fair point , but with this C130, you’re only getting one livery and will have to pay if you want different liveries, for the price its a rip off in my opinion.
Agreed on price. But the plane on the whole, good for some people and not so much for others. Like with any.
Good flight.
I think you could use your own advice.
In my opinion you’re missing out on over 90% of flight simulator, If you just load on the runway and fly, externally to boot. Flying is like 10% of the sim. Practicing procedures, flight planning and accurate systems is what this is really all about. I can name 100 games that let you fly, with no buttons to press. The learning process, expanding your knowledge of different aircraft and systems is a big part of the fun. You’re simply missing out.
Don’t care. I like what I like.
Fascinating. Your judgmental comments don’t do any good. Flight sim can be enjoyed by all in the ways they choose. And it’s fair to ask questions when devs and or article writers leave out important information. If they’re asking for our money for an item, questions are to be expected.
It’s really about having fun, and as long as everyone’s doing that, it’s all good.
Hello @ElasticSack182,
There is no One True Way to enjoy Microsoft Flight Simulator. If one person likes starting cold & dark, flying as realistically as possible while following all the IRL procedures and air regulations, enabling Live Weather, and using a virtual ATC network like VATSIM and another person likes spawning on the runway, flying in external view, using the Clear Skies weather preset, and setting all the Assistance options to “Easy”, both are perfectly valid. We give simmers the option to fly however they like.
Please keep in mind the very first two lines from the Code of Conduct:
- The Skies are Open for All - Everyone is welcome to Microsoft Flight Simulator regardless of age, gender, race, sexuality, or creed.
- One World, One Community - No matter how you play – regardless of platform, experience level, or reason – we are one community of aviation lovers.
Thanks,
MSFS Team
You edited out the part where I said In my own opinion.
And this whole part about fun too
I also did not say this was the one altruistic way to use flight sim.
Was last Monday’s Marketplace update a one-off? Or can we expect the same again tomorrow?
Cheers.
It’s not new to PC, it was released in December. It’s new to the xbox and to the marketplace, but loads of pc simmers have already bought it from Simworks or the other usual websites.
But you can only leave a MP review if your purchase is verified.
so . we will se the su 15 tomorrow ?
I haven’t heard anything otherwise. New releases are always interesting as hordes of simmers rush to download it at the same time!

Just emptied my community folder so I won’t forget…
The number of new items listed in the Marketplace changed tonight (from 41 to 30) but I can’t see anything that’s actually been added today. Looks like last week’s Monday update was a one-off — I have to wonder whether we’ll be skipping this Thursday due to SU15 (potentially) dropping?
Yet another reason to prefer a try before you buy option in the MP.
You are quite right. If developers are voting for their own products then this is more than manipulation. It borders on dishonesty.
some developers may see that as an ‘investment’.
It should not be allowed. Lets ‘try before we buy’ which would make this practise irrelevant.
You fly your way, I fly my way.
TBF, the sws pc12 might actually be worth 5 stars.
