I really like the idea of both of the above, they seem to both be pretty high quality but I have no idea which to get as I only want to get one for the time being.
I just wondered if anyone owns both and if either particularly stands out in any area e.g.:
Flight Model
Exterior/Interior Model & Textures
Real-world accuracy / complexity
Fun factor
Bugs
I’m guessing they are very similar but would love anyone’s input
I have both and prefer the Mb339 both are decent though. I’m no sim expert but I do enjoy flying them both, but if it was a choice between either id go with the mb339. Engine sounds are better. Quality is as good on either plane.
I own them both and for me it depends on the reason flying. Do you want a jet that is great for aerobatics and super responsive then I’d go MB339, if like the idea of carrier operations, a more modern HUD then the T-45C Goshawk.
Both are really good and I’d highly recommend watching reviews on them both to decide.
Edit: just realised the date on this… no idea why showed in my latest but I guess may help someone else
They’re both great. If you can’t decide, here’s a big factor: the MB-339 is all steam gauges, while the T-45 has a HUD and some (older style) glass displays.
If one or the other of those is a big turn on or turn off for you, that may help.
Hah! Forum must have bumped the thread for no apparent reason, i love it when it revives necro threads like that.
Oh cool! I only saw was in development not that was due out. Any idea on pricing? I already have most jets so torn if worth getting but it’s so iconic in the UK given the Red Arrows that I think if is reasonably priced and a decent model may get.
I have both and love them. Among my favourite planes in the sim. I tend to fly the T45 more but that’s because I use add-on RAF liveries to make it look more like the Hawk that I really want
I own them both and personally I prefer the MB339 but quite a margin. Both are equally well modelled but the 339 is just nicer looking plane in my opinion. I love the retro feel of it and as others have mentioned its really well optimised in the sim. Its great for fast jet VR flying.
I certainly wouldn’t get the Goshawk now that the Justflight Hawk T1 is just around the corner. Its looking incredible.
