Teams are formed with all the seriousness of a dodgeball draft, and once airborne, the competition gets fierce. Pilots must correctly identify landmarks at every waypoint — miss one, and you’re stuck circling like a confused mosquito while your rivals zip ahead laughing through their headsets.
This week’s airborne madness unfolds over Melbourne, Australia, where the skyline will tremble under the roar of Bell 407 blades and the echo of pilot banter. The route includes a cheeky flyby of both SAKI’s and GUNPILOT’s residences — because nothing says “friendly competition” like buzzing your mate’s backyard at 120 knots. From the Yarra River to rooftop art installations, every waypoint is a test of wit and visual acuity.
