Hello,
In live weather, night falls over Greece and I’m heading towards ‘‘Meteora Valley, Greece’’.
https://flightsim.to/file/177/meteora-valley-greece
I also added a fix to have a more realistic tree size
https://flightsim.to/file/392/tree-height-modification-for-mfs2020-shorter-realistic-trees
I will do a VFR flight following the valleys up to Meteora Valley which is in Prohibited airspace (LPG-13 - 4000F / GND).
Take off from King Pyrros Airport, we fly over the lake, we turn right and we let ourselves be guided by the valleys and I forgot to turn off the landing light
I am using the fs2020 VFR map to guide me, we can see ‘‘Meteora Valley’’ which is in the LPG-13 zone on the VFR map (a kind of trapezoid to the right of the screen) and the landing lights is turn off now.
I am in sight of Meteora Valley, it is superb at night, I will have to return there early in the morning, with the shadows it must be very beautiful.
See you
I installed it and his readme indicates you can choose between Photogrammetry and Hybrid. But I was never given a choice? I checked the files, there didn’t appear to be a distinction to install one or the other in the Community folder.
Note: if you start in the air at the coordinates given in the readme file, there is a distinct possibility not all your instruments/screens will be functional. I use the Pipistrel Virus (because of the awesome view out the side doors and it’s a fun little bus to go VFR low and slow) and the right hand Garmin was shutdown/blank. Couldn’t figure out how to revive it, so I climbed up and away from the town, did a mid-air engine restart and everything came back on.
you have two compressed files available in the file you download,
choose the hybrid, unzip it and paste it in the Community folder
Thanks. I downloaded only the Hybrid file from AvSIM so I’'ll need to find the Photogrammetry one.
just for information : hybrid is the best choice for now if you want the best quality.
