Mfd ETA display question

Hi all,

My mfd currently shows the distance to the next waypoint along the top.

Is it possible to change this to display total distance remaining?

The only way I can see at present is to look at the flightplan, add up the distances to each waypoint left, then add that to the remaining distance to the next waypoint .

Cheers

Is this with the Working Title G1000? If so, this option was removed in the last update as it doesn’t exist in the actual G1000 (according to Working Title).

Yes, it is. Thanks for that

No problem,

With that, there is no way in the G1000 to get the ETA (unless the airport is your active leg).

If wanting to work out the top of descent i suppose it’s best done at the flight plan stage and work it out to be Xkm before waypoint Y.

I usually let atc tell me when to descend but i had a real life A350 pilot with me the other day and he wanted to know distance from destination,
At which point i was fumbling! Lol

Cheers.

There are other tools that will tell you, such as Little NAV Map, Pilot2ATC also tells you if you use that.

Yes, i was aware of those utilities but i was hoping that it could be done simply in the g3000.

Thanks again
