MFSF2024 Freezes after 30 seconds after starting flight around KAGC (and no where else...)

ISSUE DESCRIPTION

Description of the issue: Whenver loading into KAGC or flying into the Pittsburgh/KAGC area, the sim will freeze but stay on screen with sound still playing.

FREQUENCY OF ISSUE

How often does this occur for you (Example: Just once, every time on sim load, intermittently)?

REPRODUCTION STEPS

Please list clear steps you took in order to help our test team reproduce the same issue:

  1. Make sure all setting are default and community folder is empty

  2. Load up flight at KAGC or fly into the KAGC area

  3. Leave sim running as usual and it will have the whole sim freeze with sound still working in about 30-60s.

What peripherals are you using:

[PC Only] Are you using Developer Mode or have you made any changes to it? No

[PC, MSFS 2020 Only] Are you using DX11 or DX12?

[PC Only] What GPU (Graphics Card) do you use? Nvidia 3090

[PC Only] What other relevant PC specs can you share? AMD 9950X3D, 128 GB 6000Mhz RAM

Loaded up at KBOS first in video showing the sim works and doesn’t freeze
Then go to main menu in same sim run and load up at KAGC*…give it about 30-60 seconds and the sim freezes and sound still plays

Cannot replicate, starting with same conditions at parking 42, no freeze observed after a couple of minutes.

If any Marketplace addons, do you also have them disabled ?

Everything is vanilla (default). I tried flying in last night (while livestreaming and flying into KAGC and with tons of addons like usually do) https://www.youtube.com/live/ku2fPXT9YRg?si=m-qEHDiAy5fmHCxC (see around 1:06:30 and 1:33:32) and it kept freezing everytime I was on final or in the pattern at KAGC

I have:

  • deleted shader cache
  • reset the sim to it’s original settings
  • had Steam check for corrupted files
  • reinstalled both versions separately of the sim (SU3 and SU4 beta)
  • installed newest Nvidia Drivers

I am seeing you have parked aircraft. Could you provide a screenshot of your graphic options with parked aircraft and traffic aircraft settings ?
(I use ms-store version, SU4, AMD Ryzen 5 3600, 16GB Ram, RTX2060 Super)

It is default ultra settings which always worked everywhere else

The only thing I changed is resolution to 4k

Traffic is set to live

I have also activated parked and online traffic, still no issue.

If you switch back to how it was ?

Same problem…it freezes
