Try flying from Coastal Springs,to Palm Springs. Stutters who last 5 secs and terrain not being loaded at all.
I also tried turning off Photogrammetry and live weather.Nothing changed.
I really wanna see how the xboxX will also handle this release.
This is a complete JOKE !
A.I and Online traffic are disabled as well.
It is common, for a resource loaded online live from the internet, that, on occasion, the data will not arrive. Like typing in a website address and the website will load but the images won’t because the images are stored on a Content Delivery Network (CDN) and that network or a node of that network is overloaded, or unresponsive, corrupted or under attack. It’s not a joke, it’s technology and your processor, graphics card, isp and this forum can do absolutely nothing about it.
I wish there was a better answer but there is none to give. A typical flight for 40 minutes in FS2020 will transfer about 1GB of data, it is to be expected that (given the laws of large numbers) there will be data missing. It is what it is old sock.
That’s the point my fellow simmer. That our hardware has nothing to do with it.It’s those who got more than they could chew that is the problem.
If they created a monster, they should kill it before it’s too late.
Even with photogrammetry off,it was horendous.
And that’s why i am wondering what will happen when also xbox gamers will be added to the servers
So, because you have problems you want the sim to die for anyone else too, even when they had next to no data streaming issues?
I’ve never encountered the problem shown on your images, so I would assume a problem on your ISP’s end that has nothing to do with the actual content delivery system.
I know it sucks, but wishing the sim to die doesn’t solve anything.
This thing with the rolling cache is never ending.Others say enable it and i did with giving it a 50giga space, and other say delete it for better days…Oh well,i will try it as well
Miami all the way up to and past Palm Beach. No stutters here and no issues with the PG. No rolling cache to draw on as never flown here before.
So can’t say from where I’m sat it’s a particular issue with that small area of the world, but then can’t try it at 410 kts @ 3000ft ish either so maybe that’s part of the issue
i turned rolling cache off and deleted it.Much better but still some micro stutters and those black lines still exist.
I am at St.Barthes now and all is smooth.
Very strange.I will also try with a defaut aircraft cause you maybe right.
You Sir,are a marvelous human being. You are 100% right and i never thought of it.It is indeed the model plane which caused the issue cause there is no super sonic addaptation yet in the sim.
When flying in Europe i didn’t encountered much of this due to lack of PG i many areas.
However…this brings us back to quality control. How do they fill the marketplace with jets that the sim doesn’t support?
Let us hope for that super sonic update to come soon.
Thank you for your kind answer and your time. This is why i love the communities.
P.S A quick HINT which i also saw from another great guy somewhere in here.If you have CTDS just do a DDU drivers clean and all will be Ok.Something with windows updates that messed up video drivers without us knowing it.
That is resolved as well.
Really easy answer; no quality control from MS or Asobo’s side on the marketplace. They just provide the platform (like the Apple App store or the Google play store).
So it’s ‘buyer beware’, do your research etc etc. before making any purchase.
