Micro freezers after after update 4 - 1.16.2.0

Gamepass Version, newest msfs2020
Windows Pro, x64 21H1 latest, Nvidia 466.47

i7 7700k, 16GB DDR5, GTX 1070 8GB, NVME M.2 SSD, 1 Gbit/sec Internet Connection

after last update i got massive screen freezers, after 1-2 minutes, for about 1-2 seconds, in regular flights, not using VR
never had that before.

even with empty community folder…

what to do, open a ticket at zendesk, which never will answer back?

What i tried to fix:
reboot
changed gfx settings from high to medium
emptied community folder
deleted steam vrserver.exe
reloaded aircraft via developer tools

you could try to disable “fullscreen optimisation” on the FlightSimulator.exe, dis/enable rolling cache… other than that, welcome to the BETA

not possible for me, folder/files are hidden, and i do not have any permissions to access. thanks mickysoft devs!
how can you?

Go to

C:\Program Files\WindowsApps\Microsoft.FlightSimulator_1.16.2.0_x64__8wekyb3d8bbwe

use
https://www.google.com/search?q=show+hidden+files+windows+10

give permission to user via
https://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/forum/windows_10-files-winpc/give-permissions-to-files-and-folders-in-windows/78ee562c-a21f-4a32-8691-73aac1415373?auth=1

all that assuming you use win10

Unless I’m missing something, FS2020 doesn’t run in native full screen mode. Changing the compatibility settings shouldn’t make any difference.

thanks! this helped at least a bit. it reduced the lag/freeze to ~ half a second or less (from 1-2 seconds)

disable “fullscreen optimisation”

This worked for me.
