i am having reinstalling MSFS from Microsoft store that system is broke and hard to fix…if i bought the dvd version do i still have to go thru the store for it to work??? i have spent over 100 dollars for the game already
Yes, because the updates that have happened since the version you bought must be applied to your installation.
Unless you want it as a collector’s item, DO NOT buy the DVD version. It won’t get you the result you’re hoping for.
Once you get it installed from DVDs, which will take a significant amount of time, you then have to re-download and install all the updates just as if you had installed the launch version on August 18 (basically the entire game), and it won’t run until you update it.
thanks for the info boss …ok i cant reinstall or fix/repair after trying all the fixes to reinstall or repair thru Microsoft store and xbox … keep getting error code no matter how i follow all the different repair instructions Microsoft gives me to fix this problem i keep getting keep getting code 0x80073cf9 when i try to download and 0x80080204… please help…i hate to have to go back to xplane!!!
