Why are you turning on water injection and oil dillution though?

Water injection is for wet takeoffs to allow more power output for a short while without overheating.
Oil dillution you use during a specified amount of time before shutting down and expecting next engine start to be in extreme freezing conditions?

Wow these older planes had some serious engine management to be done, and used all the runway to get airborne. It was more exciting to take-off with these kind of planes.
Now even civilian planes have such overpowered and perfect engines that full throttle will lead to overspeed with full tanks and while ascending with 2500ft/min
