Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 General Feedback

I suspect you are seeing what I was originally encountering with keyboard profiles.
What happens is you need to create a unique named one eg. “My General Keyboard Profile 1” or something like that that has your custom views set on your known keys. You then need to hit the cog and make this default, and apply to all aircraft.

Now what seems to happen is that if you change a key assignment and haven’t done the above, it automatically creates a new Profile call “My New Keyboard Profile” or something like that. The trouble I found is that it keeps creating these duplicates of the same name every time you change something. Keep scrolling through to the right to see them all.

So the only way around this is as I previously said give your profile a recognisable name, set it as default, apply to all aircraft THEN go and delete all the other profiles that were auto-saved until only your own one is left (and the two default reference ones).

The reason I found this out was my custom cameras I had set up for a flight on one profile, the next flight they would be gone. Turns out the duplicate profiles of same name that were automatically saved only one of 5 of them actually had the custom camera views I had set up in it. So it’s worth bearing this in mind. I’ve not had any issues since I figured this out and deleted the duplicate auto saved profiles. It is quite hard to get your head around though.
