I keep getting crashes when using the new airbus helicopter in premium deluxe
Honestly, the downside here is the controls and mapped keys that make no sense at all. The configuration is quite confusing

500Mb/s internet conectionā¦never had problems with FS2020!
Until yet i was not able to play the game! Had problems with my key bindings, planes and scenery.

So waiting for the dinner to cook, I figured why not give the sim another try.
oh wow what a difference. Started sim at 18:01, got to the initial ānarratorā prompt in 5 minutes. Down from 25 minutes yesterday.
No longer got stuck at the āCustomise Identityā screen and now by 18:07 am at the main menu. Gave you after 90 minutes of waiting yesterday.
I very much hope this is how things continue.
No engine sounds 50% of the time..
Give us the option to download the whole thing.

Did āresetā also reset your key bindings and gMe settings?
I would prefer not to go through that painful process again. Iād rather have limited sounds.

Iām really quite disgusted that Asobo havenāt implemented any sort of power saving features in 2024. Incredibly, itās even worse than 2020 in this respect.
Not only did they cause massive amounts of wasted power during the completely failed - and somewhat ongoing - launch by looping the intro continuously at maximum framerates, but once the sim is actually loaded just being in the main menu uses completely disproportionate amounts of power with no practical way to reduce it.
A separate FPS cap for the menus would be an obvious starter. Thatās something which canāt be easily addressed by third-party limiters.
Am actually surprised Microsoft let them get away with this. Expected they would be a bit more conscious of these things.

We are the last thought, or so I feel.
I was worried about that too but the custom configurations for my T16000 flight stick were preserved, as were other menu settings such as reducing music volume to 0. Graphic settings were reset to default I think.

Takes too long to load - at least 15 min from start to get to main menu is too long.
