I can’t believe the interviewer entertained the question “Some people think 2024 is being created because 2020 is a failed project”. What a waste of valuable questions he might have asked… geez.
not another flying boat please…
The next Local Legend is now delayed a week.
BTW - Jorg did actually confirm that ‘Free Flight’ will be a thing in the new sim. It was one of my early doubts/fears which a guy named delta convinced me I was wrong but now - straight from the man at the top.
Must be “Study Level”
love it!!! lol
Dark Fan Theories exist everywhere, especially on this forum.
Nothing new there ![]()
Just check out some of the MSFS 2004 threads !!! (or don’t)
It was this specific dark fan theory that has disturbed me. Carl can’t be dead!
As I blocked any thread tagged with MSFS2024 the day after it was announced or that mentions it and is NOT an official post by Microsoft or Asobo, or an interview (such as this) with the team, I have been spared all the (sadly inevitable) dark ‘fan’ theories on that front… Honestly, I have no interest in what anyone has to say about it other than those making it.
MSFS2020 can’t die either (at least for some years)!!
But MSFS2020’s “heart” is its servers… when they die (are closed down / re-assigned) , then 2020 will not be far behind.
MSFS2020 seems to be very much alive and well to me. I use it all the time (or so I think?). And I can’t see those servers going away anytime soon either. And when they do, it will only be because the technology has marched on and 2020 will be a relic of a bygone age…
I wonder how stable FS2024 will be, when they claim a lot of the scenery will be outsourced to a clouds
We have already now sometimes problems with servers being down or people having problems with connections because of the bandwidth extensively used
“I WONDER” should be the pre-release slogan for 2024.
More importantly is what the Post-release slogan will be, and only time will tell. We will all just have to wait for MSFS 2024, (just as we waited for MSFS 2023) - no, not a Typo ![]()
Folks, a kind reminder to stay on Topic. Thanks.
Classic MU-2 confirmed as the next Famous Flyer, very nice.
