Microsoft Flight Simulator add-on sales and discounts

Definitely worth getting at the discounted price. I love it, and don’t spend nearly enough time in it, but it is a superb add on.

I got Ant’s drifter today, was going to get the searey but I hear the FM was left kind of abandoned. But Ant never disappoints, what a great ultralight! Really not all that slow either. I think that’s it for me for a while. Filled a few missing envelopes/types.

Still haven’t even gotten around to trying the 222UT or CH47, need to try that radio AP

Yea, but just don’t try and be a Red Arrow in it (disclaimer: currently)! lol

At what time exactly does the sale end agan? It would be great if Asobo offered some kind of timer like Steam has.

The weekly (much smaller) sales always end at 1759 UK time on a Friday but I think the big sales tend to end early-mid morning on the date stated (that’s the sort of time the spring sale ended).

My recommendation is to always buy your last bits the night before — that way, there’s no chance of being caught out!

Still an idea for Asobo to consider to have some kind of timer

Just buy before that day and you’re good.

Xbox users don’t have that previllege, we are just milk cows  Im looking for dc-6 discount a year… nothing. It loks like discrimination.

PMDG promised that it would be discounted when it was finally available on Xbox, as it was when it launched for PC… That never happened, either.

Verticalsim have some decent discounts on their site as part of the Fenix 319/321 release sale. Huntington Tri-State is only $7.49.

IniBuilds also have a 319/321 release sale.

I see Fenix is discounting the new A319/320/321 set by £10. For anyone who doesn’t have their original a320 yet. I’m still not tempted. Lol.

Top-Rated Scenery Sale - Microsoft Flight Simulator

Super tempting, but kind of wondering if scenery is worth buying at this point due to how close the FS24 release is. In fact, I could see them doing fire sales just to push a few more add-ons before the launch.

That’s your call. We don’t know what 2024 will provide. We do know that most if not all addons will work fine with 2024. Might depend a bit on what addon you’re looking at.

Orbx scenery sale

That in 2024 Orbx still hasn’t a simple filter function for sales is incomprehensive and really shows how far in the past this company’s leadership is. I tried to scroll through their webpage to find anything interesting but I gave up after a few minutes and bought nothing. Good job Orbx.

Yeah I used to think their site and software was good, but it is very featureless and there are far better options now. I regret spending so much with them. Especially seeing now their prices are often significantly higher than you can pay for the same products elsewhere. I just need another 14 Orbs and I can claim a higher-value freebie, then that will be me done with them.

They still won’t allow transferring purchases from Marketplace to their own store. iniBuilds and Contrail do it in a matter of hours.

I bought LIEO, the PAPI lights are completely wrong, they came with a LIEO v2 have to pay full price again that was it for me with ORBX.

Somewhere on the forum is a list with, forgot the name, handcrafted airports or something, I visit those the most now.
