Considering how bad they look now after fs24 disaster , I’m surprised no attempts to tame customers with sale… 
I’d actually thought that was probably a reason why they hadn’t had a sale so far, that the MSFS 2024 marketplace is a little bit barren for a sale yet
Perhaps they’re waiting to combine it with a May day sale. Some of the Developers haven’t put a sale on yet either.

They’ll all start this week, no doubt. Orbx recently had a biggie, so not sure if they’ll have another so soon after. Perhaps that was their Easter sale… just not at Easter!
I can’t see the in-sim Marketplace skipping a seasonal sale. I heard some time ago that 80% of add-on revenue is generated during sales. Not sure if that has any truth to it but, based on my own spending habits, I can well believe it.

There are possibly a lot of people still buying 2020 products ( in my case only if it says compatible with 2024 as well) , so there is money to be reaped there, regardless of the state of the 2024 Marketplace. Cash flow for the marketplace and dev’s is perhaps not great this year to date, so I’m expecting a sale starting maybe Thursday and running for 2 weeks (to include Mayday).
We’ll see.
Let’s see who blinks first.
….that or my little aircraft budget goes into the holiday fund.

The Orbx webstore finally has a dedicated ‘on sale’ tab to allow you to easily view current discounted items. Nothing there at the moment, mind… but could the timing be indicative of an imminent large sale?
Also, Seafront Sims have just opened their own webstore and are kicking it off with a 30% off sale (excluding the two latest packs).

I’m not sure whether we will see a sale in the 2024 Marketplace. Not all the products for all the developers are in the store yet, and putting on a sale would just draw attention to that.

Aviatek, maker of ultra-high-end avionics, is having a 10% off sale until 27 April for World Pilot’s Day (never knew that that existed):
10% off is the best discount I have ever seen them give.
I’d check this thread before ordering anything from Aviatek

I have just had my money retuned from the bank for an order placed last November. I was very surprised to see the offer of a sale now. Feel a bit sorry for them (Aviatek) they told me orders from the USA had stopped and that was their main income. I suggest you be careful before sending any money.

Orbx’s Easter sale has started, but the ‘on sale’ tab has now disappeared from the top-right corner!
No sale anywhere else just yet but Contrail has today knocked 30% off Atelic’s new Kos (as well as the earlier Madeira).

My guess is sometime tomorrow, albeit midnight, running for at least 2 weeks until Mayday or beyond. We’ll see.
The last few seasonal sales have lasted between 16 and 20 days. But I think you’re right in saying they’ll want to incorporate Mayday.
