Microsoft Store just keeps loading - cannot update

Good Day,

I started MSFS today and it requested the mandatory update. So I went to Microsoft Store and clicked on Downloads and Updates on the top right corner, but only got a loading icon then the store shuts down. I logged out of the store and logged in again but got the same issue.

Every time there is an update I hold my breath and anticipate the worse. This is really very annoying.

Any help is appreciated.

did you start the simulator itself ? … then download will start in that window

I did, and it asked for the update and I clicked ok. But it took me to the Microsoft Store and nothing happens there.

Check Microsoft Store App itself for Updates first. Once that’s done, process the Updates for the Sim.

as stated in my first post, when I click for updates in the Microsoft app, I get a loading icon and then it shut down.

Check for any pending Windows 10 Operating System updates.

Hello. The same thing happens to me, when I open the MFS2020 it asks to go to the Windows APP Store and it stays frozen, IT DOES NOT UPDATE, it is a problem caused by the NEW UPDATE. I hope they fix it. Greetings

What CasualClick recommends solves the problem. I installed the latest Windows updates and the problem is fixed with the APP Store. Thanks CasualClick. Problem solved
