Microsoft visual C++ packages

Hello.

I have Windows 10 64bits… as i keep having the “freeze crash” i was suggested to reinstall this visual studio packages. Now, …when i uninstalled the ones that i already had i notice they were x86.

¿Should i install both 64 and x86? Or 64 is ok.
Thanks.

To the best of knowledge you need both.
In any case, it wont hurt to install them both.

Ok. Thank you…

Anyway crash still happening with 64. It probably has nothing to do.

Ok, so what is happening, how does the crash occur?

It is very random…altough all the crashes to day happened 3 or 4 minutes after parking on destination, on a flight that lasted about 1h, 20 minutes or so, in all the cases.
What happens, basically, … the pc freezes permanently, and need to shut down to restart.

I’ve tried everything: Updated drivers, reinstaled Windows and FS, …today i executed intel diagnostic tools to test the CPU, …tested Ram Memory with Windows test, …all was ok. I do not know what makes that happen because on the Windos events all i can see is “Critical Error Kernel”

I do not have add-ons, …or bluetooth periperhals, just a Logitech 3d stick…and wireless keyborad and mouse. Not a clue on this issue.

There is a simconnect bug that recently arose.
It sounds like this issue.
Anything that connects to the sim through simconnect such as Little Nav Map, Simbrief, weather, AI live traffic all affect it.
The solution has just been found by ASOBO and will be out soon (I expect you may see it in this update).
In the meantime, keeping these things off in the sim helps immensely.
If you use FSUIPC7, there is a command you can enter to solve it as well.

I had quite a few CTD’s myself, near drove me foolish until I found this out.
