I found it…but not in Orbx Central (could not find it there). Had to go to the Orbx Website, log in, click “Account” and then scroll down until I found “Blackbird Simulations 310R” and click on info. Scroll down a little and click on “Show License Key”.
I have not tried it as I remember Blackbird saying they would release the update to Orbx this week so decided to wait.
Is it still being sent to Orbs this week? Would like to know for sure.
Thanks. I just figured out the problem. I had a switch on my Bfavo turned off that I hadn’t realised I even programmed. Seems to be working now. Thanks.
Depends on what you are used to and how you fly it. Generally, pilots will fly twins at or near the blue line on the airspeed indicator to land. Twin Cessnas like 19-20’” manifold pressure, 2400-2500 rpm on final, and don’t go to full flaps till short final! Ok to fly the approach with 15-20 deg flaps till you have the landing made. Before that, gear down on the downwind leg, abeam the field if VFR, or when intercepting the glide slope/path if IFR. Try these settings for a while and see if they and the 310 work for you. Good flying!
I just purchased this today and took it for a fly around Sedona, holy awesome plane. It has this weight and momentum to it that I haven’t felt by many other craft in the Sim. Feels like I’m flying a machine and not a paper plane on rails. I think I’m a bit late to the party on this one, but I guess I’ve had the fortune of some years of updates to enjoy first time out!
I’m missing my trim sensitivity slider in the EFB. Shows in he manual but not in sim.
I bought it about 10 months ago. Only recently updated with the link I had emailed to me in July. Tried deleting the folder from the community directory and reinstalling. Neither seems to work.
Suggestions welcome.
I see the feature is in the latest beta. NVM I guess.
I know it’s been a while since this topic opened but I own the 310R and I noticed that it hits my fps pretty hard. I haven’t flown it for a few months because of that reason. However, I recently found out that some mesh addons I had installed were stealing an above-average amount of system resources.
I began to avoid the 310R and several other planes that I thought were too hard on the system and now that I uninstalled the mesh that I think was responsible, I need to remember to try the 310R and the others to see if there’s an improvement.
I know that I saw an instant and big improvement with the Blackbird Sim 407B after the mesh removal, so I think there’s a good chance I’ll see the same for the 310.
