No it’s not. It is not related to the window itself. During missions you can perform ATC calls using the “quick answer” control (don’t know its actual name in English) without even opening the ATC window and this issue will still occur.

WORKAROUND [Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 Screenshot 2026.03.03 - 07.38.54.42] Jumping to next flight step to skip taxi seems to allow avoiding the issue. This seems to confirm the hypothesis of the 3’400 NM holding point bug!

PS : please note that the issue you just linked reports a very similar issue but for destination airport, which differs from mine since I always encountered this issue at origin airport, at taxi before takeoff. Unsure whether those are actually dupplicates or not.
