I have been trying to find a way to bind APU master switch and APU start plus a lot of other virtual buttons to physical buttons on my hotas but don’t find them in the controller keybindings menu. Am I blind or is it not possible? I if so, any workaround?
You are not blind. There are a lot of functions in the sim that dont have corresponding keybindings. The one that comes to mind for me is the Master Caution or the windshield whipers on the King Air.
Thanks for the reply. If so, this must be a huge problem for home cockpit builder, or even people like me who use hotas with tons of buttons. Is there any know workaround?
Yeah, people use Spad.Next or similar programs. Outside of that… not that I know.
how is that going to help? if there is no action to activate say mastercaution, i cant see what spad can do.
Thats just the thing. The action IS there. There is just no keybinding for it. Programs like Spad.Next can detect those actions and then allow you to bind them. (Note that I never really tried out Spad but thats how I understand it to work)
