All generic airport and city buildings have disappeared. Only photogrammetry is working.

Latest NVIDIA drivers. 1440p. Mix of Ultra/high Settings. DX11.

PC specs and/or peripheral set up if relevant:

5800X3D, RTX3080TI, 16GB 3600mhz. 1TB SSD NVME.

Build Version # when you first started experiencing this issue:

Latest MSFS update.

Could you post the ICAO of the airport in your image?

Hi.
It is happening to all generic buildings in MSFS.
Every single airport. Every single city.
All buildings are missing.
The only buildings appearing are the ones which are photogrammetry.
This problem with missing buildings seems to happen with many people every now and then because of Sim Updates of MSFS.
It’s really frustrating because I can’t find a solution.

If you provided the ICAO for “that” airport they can try the same airport to see if they can replicate the bug. If they can they’ll be able to work towards a fix. Marking it as a bug etc. If they can’t then its user(s) specific and difficult to pin down.

Its not happening to everyone and I doubt its every airport but if you can supply the additional information when requested you’re more likely to get the help you’re asking for.

If you remove all your add-ons, & turn off developer mode, does this still happen?
Along with the info on the airport, can you list all your graphics settings, please.

Like @ Hester40MT, I am unable to repro, but I’m using the MS-Store version of the game, so your issue may be specific to steam.

Hi.
I removed all addons.
Just kept the PMDG. And then I deleted even the PMDG.
Still no buildings (airport, cities, etc; photogrammetry still works).

I think it’s something related to a recent MSFS update.
Not everyone is experiencing this issue. But it seems recurrent.

I haven’t tried to reinstall the sim yet.
I’m avoiding doing that at all costs (takes time and I’ll need to reconfigure my options).

In the Official One Store file, try removing the asobo-modellib-buildings folder.

Paste it somewhere safe in your PC (just in case), and start the sim.
The sim should download a new one.
See if that helps!

Unfortunately i have the same problem with the EDDF aiport from the premium version. The building where my plane is, is completely missing. I am on xbox series s.

I am having this issue with KMIA. All of my purchased airports are showing up but I cannot seem to see buildings on the default ones.

I was having this same issue. Upon adding and removing items from the Community Folder, I found the culprits were Black Square’s Real Taxiways north america and Europe. That was for my system anyhow
