Missing game executable after installing 1.7.9.0

ISSUE DESCRIPTION

Description of the issue:

After installing 1.7.9.0 via Steam when I try to launch the sim I get the error “An error occurred while launching the game: Missing game executable - C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Limitless\FlightSimulator2024.exe”. The exe does in fact not exist at that location, everything else appears to be there.

Getting out of the beta I was able to start the sim (SU4). Rejoining the beta the error message occurs again when I try to launch the sim.

Hi folks,

We’ve already escalated this internally to the Production Team, and they’re working to get it resolved now. I’ll provide another update when we have more information to share.

Thanks,

Same here, Win11 Steam

Hi folks,

This should be resolved now. You may need to fully exit and restart Steam to re-trigger the update.

Thanks,
