Missing keyboard and 'mouse V-menu'?

Starting the MS2020 sim today my throttles F2 and F3 is NOT working - I have checked they are defined !

My ‘mouse V-menu’ - the menu I can get when flying to pause, change camera, ect is missing too !

What the BEEP is wrong ?

I would suspect a mod conflict.
Have you tried with an empty community folder?

WHAT … what is a ‘community folder’ and where is it ?

Have you installed any addons?

I’ve done nothing at all - just turned the pc on - and wants to fly

Were you in the SU9 beta?

No … I just told you I just started the PC … I think yesterday I had a major update when I started and haven’t flown since then - is it an update- problem … again, again, again … ?

There has been no sim updates, and I’m asking questions to try and wrap my head around what could be causing your issue.
If you had been in the Beta and left at some point, this may have caused the issue.
Just because you started the PC this AM and it didn’t work right, doesn’t mean you didn’t leave the Beta yesterday.
If you don’t know where the community folder is, obviously you haven’t put anything in it which may be causing a coinflict, which is another main cause of this.
If you want help, I’m willing to try.
Being rude isn’t going to help.

Did you try restarting the sim to see if this was just a weird one time thing?
This is rather unusual.

What is “the community folder” and where is it ?

I think I’ll try reboot the pc

I often see strange things in the SIM I think … It’s very UN-predicable what will happen next time you start it

That depends on whether you have MS Store or Steam installation.
The community folder is where you put addon liveries, airports or aircraft.
The best way to locate it is here:

go into MSFS2020
Select Options
Select General
Select Developers (on the left, at the bottom)
Turn Developer Mode on
Look for the new menu in the top left (the text is very small)
Select Tools
Select Virtual File System
Select Packages Folder
That will show you the folder.

OK - THX … but I think it’s for SKILLED MSFS’s right ?

Hello,
I have moved your topic into our new Community Support category.

I’m not sure what you mean by skilled.

I mean to do that you have to be a more traines user than I am !

But after I made a reboot of the pc and started all over it cured the problem !
I’ll see if it has to do with loading a flight from my local airport - it was for sure wrong before the reboot.

Thx for your time

You don’t need to be any more trained to use the community folder.
It is so easy. You just download the addon you like, unzip it and put it in the community folder.
I recommend you try this site and download a livery or airport you like and try.
It is that easy.
If you need any help doing so, feel free to PM me, or post here.
Good to hear you solved the issue!! :+1:

Now we (maybe only me) are talking of strange behaviour - I often see the yoke on the screen moves opposit - if I turn left the yoke turns right and visa versa - very annoying !

How to cure that ?

It sure would be.
Does the aircraft turn properly, or does it turn the way the yolk displays?

The airplane turns properly - the yokes on the screen goes wrong !

And I see the behaviour 4 out of 10 times I think - very annoying !
