I also struggle with bad function of save and load.
I will try last mentioned solution. And thank you guys for it.
My current work around is using Quick Resume.
Just leave a game. Dont manualy quit a game. After switching xbox again (next day) it opens up the game with aircraft and everyting as i left it.
To get weather, time, traffic refresh and working. 1)Before I left a game before. I switched weather to clear sky, made a manual change of time so it was not in live time mode, and switched off traffic.
2)Than after I opened game next day. And after xbox says something like"connection to online services has been restored". I put weather, time, traffic back into live modes. I try to make sure weather is not remembering yesterdays weather. I toggle some different weather themes and than back to clear sky. And after that into live weather. Sometimes I have seen weather to update after more minutes. Not sure if this little additional step is helping. But in the end seems working for me. So I continue my flying from position I left my aircraft yesterday.
