Oh No, I seem to have lost my alpha insider tag, who stole it?
I just only ask why people are in panic with this nonsense label?
If I see many of these labeled people, I don’t see nowhere constructive and serious contributions to important topics. Better say I expect that they have more experience with already this game but no traces
I think we should stick to the actual topic, what this topic is about, otherwise this will get out of control and in the end, as I said, it has nothing to do with the actual topic. It’s just my opinion on it, I don’t want to say more about it, I wish everyone a nice weekend!

I do take your point Omico but on reflection after reading some of these comments, I think it is a label I do want. Let me explain; I think the Alpha tag is more like a badge. So that in 5 or 6 years, we can look at it and say I was there at the beginning. Not necessarily for other people to view or appreciate, but perhaps for our own feeling of accomplishment. In the same way I still keep my qualification certificates from 20 years ago. It is a memory and something to look back on. Not everyone will feel the same of course.
I do agree it may give the impression that person has a greater level of experience level (and in some ways that is true) but if I’m anything to go by, the Alpha tag doesn’t make me a good virtual pilot - there are many many people who are better than me and don’t have the tag. But I, like you, won’t judge people on the Alpha tag, we judge people on their contribution.

This is just a friendly reminds to keep posts in this thread specifically and only on telling us whether you are missing the Tech Alpha Tag. Other comments make it more difficult for us to identify who has lost the tag.

Missing the Alpha tag here too.
Seem to have lost my tag as well.
Mine appears to be missing as well, and I’m also seeing the XBLA tag in the URL when trying to sign in on the main flightsimulator.com site (tried InPrivate/Incognito as well).
