ISSUE DESCRIPTION
Description of the issue:
Flew 6 hour mission from KBOS to EINN. Taxied to assigned spot and shut down. Mission step to Stop at Parking Spot reappeared and no way to end the mission, thus failure.
SUGGESTION: KEEP THE ALT-N SKIP TO SHUTDOWN OPTION AVAILABLE UNTIL MISSON END
[PC Only] Did you remove all your community mods/add-ons? If yes, are you still experiencing the issue?
No mods
FREQUENCY OF ISSUE
How often does this occur for you (Example: Just once, every time on sim load, intermittently)?
First attempt at 737 long haul mission.
REPRODUCTION STEPS
Please list clear steps you took in order to help our test team reproduce the same issue:
- Landed successfully and taxied to the assigned parking spot.
- Mission Objective to stop at parking spot turned green indicating success.
- Set parking brakes and shut down engines.
- Mission objective now said “Stop at Parking Spot.” I was already there.
- Unable to end the mission. Tried restarting engines, using pushback to change position. Stuck and mission failed, no credit for a long haul.
- Need an option to force end of mission / better recognition that the plane is parked. If I had skipped the taxing and chose Alt-N Skip to Shutdown I probably would have received credit - I was penalized for performing the mission step.
