I’m early into the career (level 15) and I’ve been mostly focusing on missions going from A to B. The route programmed into the Nav is often very different to the route shown by the “Visual Assistances Display” route.
Does it matter which route we take or can we basically take whatever method we like to arrive at a destination?
In my experience it doesn’t seem to matter. I’ve done both without any penalty. It is a bit frustrating though that there is this disparity between the two. I’ve tried to get them to marry up but it doesn’t happen. Seems the missions are set. you can go your own way but you can’t change the display markers, although you can probably turn them off.
