Make sure you do not use repair and add fuel. You can use “add fuel” instead.

Hi all post edit can confirm this error is from adding fuel in flight via repair and add fuel when in company mode, I was like lets see, added the fuel and a few seconds later bam error code

YOU SIR are a GENIUS! This worked for me. So frustrating that MICROSOFT cant figure out a way to add fuel to a plane in simulator without it crashing, let alone having even the “Realistic Option” of refueling a cessna 172 in the air… good grief!

Current workaround while this bug is being fixed: Use the “add fuel” button instead of repair and add fuel.
We have created an internal ticket to see if our team already has this logged, and if not they will attempt to reproduce the issue and create a new bug report. This item is now marked as feedback-logged. If there is an existing bug report or one is created, we will move this thread to bug-logged

This issue continues to happen to me every time with Cessna 208B. After a 2h flight, landed and the error appears on hold short. Didn’t touch fuel configs, neither repair and refuel or even add fuel, and it just happens every time. It’s completly unacceptable that Microsoft doesn’t even recognize this is an issue and classifies this as “feedback” instead of a bug. Carreer mode is just broken you don’t seem to care.

- Start Career Mode
- Receive message that my reputation changed (went up slightly)
- Choose a mission
- Remove chocks, covers, etc and enter plane
- Open and follow startup procedure
- Upon engine startup attempt (turning key to “start” or an “ignition” button), immediate error message “Unexpected error…error code: 309-400-00201”
- Mission automatically cancelled and sent back to home base

Same issues… usually for cargo missions. Happens randomly during flights and after skipping to decent to final (Alt-N).

Hi all, is anyone else experiencing these issues?
In career mode, I now own my aircraft. Started my company, went on my first sight seeing flight when, again, the flight froze. You can tell when it happens, a light or knob will light up on the dash. Some controls still work, but most do not. Sometimes it will stop and un-freeze in time to save the flight. Not this time! my first flight with my new company, plane crashed into the local interstate road! lol
I am playing FS24 on the xbox series X.
Any ideas if this is a hardware issue?
This is issue is not exclusive for the “Repair and Refuel” keybind usage. I never had this problem for the last 3 weeks and at some point I had to use the Repair after a hard landing in a Freelance Cargo mission and 2 minutes later got the 00201 error. But ever since I get the unexpected error in almost every flight even without using the “Repair and Refuel” button. Now I noticed that before the error, the game displays the “Low bandwith…” warning and few minutes later pops the error.
This game is a massive time wasting.

I have the same problem. I am on Xbox Series X. The crash happens 90% of the time at the end of a mission, when stopping on the taxiway or parking area. It almost always occurs during the third consecutive flight, but also sometimes on the first one. I have no mods and use an original Xbox controller. This issue makes any progression tedious as you never know if you will be able to complete your flight. I hope you take this problem and the feedback into account.
This also happens during the landing of the mission “Passenger Transport” which takes place in Korea.

- I didn’t use the refuel and/or repair hotkeys.
- I did increase sim rate during cruise.
- So far I didn’t see a pattern, but I experience this error roughly every 3-4 flights.

• On my last 10 VIP mission with vison jet this error appeared 5 times
Sometimes after takeoff sometimes at 65% of the flight, before descent
Almost 1h lost per mission failed because of this bug, I’m starting to get afraid to launch any medium or longe range mission… please fix this career mode and make it just playable…
What time of day is it where you live when this happens? I get this error every night between 12:00 am and 12:15 am, I think it’s related to the day change in the game.

I think you are right.
To test I started a Medium Cargo mission at ~12:00 am (local time / GMT+1) and at 12:14:57 am I got the “Unexpected error” again:
This solution doesn’t work for me. it’s the same thing each time for the company misson. My freight company is at a standstill because all missions end in failure. Since the company is the only place where you can make significant money, my career is at a standstill.
