What do you do when the missions in a location are gone? Since we are limited to just some regions, not even country, the option to move your owned aircraft is cost prohibitive. Acquiring another aircraft is cost prohibitive. And going back to working for pennies is time prohibitive.
This economy has not been thought out. How are some of you getting up to starting other companies?
First, I agree with everything you posted. To answer your question, I started with a flight seeing business and did first flight and flightseeing missions until I had enough money to buy a cargo business. The flightseeing missions give about 20-30k if you skip all the skippable parts, and roughly double if you don’t (this is a trend).
Once I got the cargo business, I started doing those. They yield about 50k if you skip everything, and 100k if you don’t. I was initially abusing sim rate speed to not skip anything but honestly, skipping is still faster money wise. You can do two cargo missions with skipping faster than you can do one without and abusing sim rate speed. If the wind wasn’t broken this might not be the case. The wind and gusts are currently broken in career mode so you can’t max out sim rate speed or you crash. You also can’t go afk because… you’ll crash lol, you have to monitor it closely.
I did that until I got a private charter business. They pay between 60-100k with skips and double that for not skipping. You have to be REALLY careful with these. They love to send you to out of the way and microscopic airports, which many have a known bug of putting parking (or spawn point) on top of buildings instantly wrecking you if you skip or spawn in there.
That’s where I am currently at on company 3. It’s a massive struggle, and most of the challenge is fighting the bugs. The punishments wouldn’t be so brutal without all the bugs, but with the bugs they are horrendous and brutally punishing.
This is Asobo and MS. I would not expect this to get better quickly. There is a thread in the activities bug section on the most critical bugs to avoid in career, I would take a look at that.
For some reason The Cargo business isn’t available for me even though I had 60K
You also need the money to buy a used C172 cargo variant which is around 200,000 CR.
So really $300K is needed. I kept seeing $32k was needed. Having to transfer to another region cost me $40K. This is abysmal. I don’t know how I will hit $300K
have you guys found any missions for the Cessna CJ4? i got the second VIP specialization but theres no missions with the CJ4
