I understand but you never get the bonus and other things+ in S repetation it wil kill your repatetion. I found a better solution so far…
I edit route in first menu, hit it 3 times. file plan to ATC
second menu , select plane, fuel and send to avonics 2x times
once ingame I send the route again to avoinics if needed. 1 time.
If that nof worked out, I just restart the mission and recover my route and data for the trip.
You will notice , when you start your engine… if ATC get stock there. U need simple restart the mission by hitting ESC 1 time.
Don’t send mssion plan while in game or your steps will be broken …
It work for me most of the time , and get no panelties or stricks.
even tells me to decent on time!!!

• its happening so frequently ! even when i try to do the manual com it stuck and i can’t complete the misson the only option is to abandon or restart the misson…on a 6h or 8h misson its disgusting

3 freelance VIP missions in a row, the ATC gets stuck on “land at xxx airport” and I don’t get credit for the 3+ hours I just spent. I maybe get the chance to use the sim once or twice a week with my schedule, and the broken career mode that was so highly anticipated makes it very difficult to support or recommend this version of MSFS to anyone.
On top of this, I have also noticed that the autopilot bank angle in any aircraft I have tried is reminiscent of Top Gun 2, trying to make changes to the EFB in the Pilatus turns off the battery, avionics, and releases the brakes, so you end up rolling out of parking cold and dark again just trying to set a new altitude in the flight plan (and getting dinged for it in the mission as well). The G36 is broken, the Cirrus is broken, the Corvalis engine pages don’t match, the Air Tractor switches don’t match their bindings, or dont bind at all, the Pipistrel is capable of 200+ knots in level flight, I pay to have my aircraft cleaned before a career mission, and when the mission loads the airplane is dirty again, and I get dinged for it…I could keep going but it’s like every time I trick myself into playing 2024 again, I run into another smoldering dumpster fire.

are u using a Yoke, I had the problem when I used EFB , batteries turned off. It was my Alpha Yoke.. causing the problem when I useing keynoard type and hit enter.

Yes, as matter of fact I do have the Alpha, and that’s exactly what is happening! I know it’s off-topic for the bug reporting section, as much as my second-half rant was, but were you able to come up with a fix? I just don’t have time to play musical keybinds when it seems like 8 different stupid things happen every time I hit “enter”.
U need to turn off double key bindings in MSFS Yoke control profile.
Some how after sim update it reinstalled double key bindings was my case.
Disconnect Your yoke from the PC and check if u still have the issue in the sim.
Until they fix the numerous bugs in the ai generated missions they need to add logic to detect if a plane has left the vicinity of the departure airport and force-reset the missions to whatever stage lets you land and complete the mission at the destination. I still as of this post am getting stuck IFR requests from ATC which means either restart the mission and pray for better results, or try to fly to destination even though the “press X to skip to takeoff” still displays in the mission window well after takeoff, a sure indication that this flight will not end well.
Seems extremely easy for the devs to implement some basic sanity check workarounds to prevent the extreme conseqence of spending 10 hours flying a mission for nothing.
- Now that I posted this while experiencing the above, I observed the mission step change to skip to descent upon reaching cruise altitude. So this may be the point at which the above requested check is taking place. Of course, don’t skip to descent in the 737 unless you’re ready to pull out of an immediate stall.
Ok, so I jumped in real quick and checked for and removed the keyboard bindings for battery, avionics, brakes, and any actions tied to “enter” and “backspace” keys. When I click on “send flight plan to atc” in the tablet of the Pilatus, everything still shuts off and the airplane rolls away. That’s all the time I can give it today…
did you disconnect the yoke and test ingame if still issue is active ( no yoke connection)

How is this still an issue? I can’t finish missions because of easily fixable bugs? Is Asobo or MS to blame for this garbage? I spend hours in flight, land at the destination airport, and the next mission step doesn’t trigger for absolutely no reason.
I just updated to 2024 from 2020 a week ago. I was having the same issue in 2020 and now to spend one to two hours on a VIP mission only to get stuck at the end is the most frustrating thing ever. I"m seriously beginning to wonder why I invested in this broken game. I can’t get close to S from A because of crashing into invisible walls and not completing these missions. So mad.

• Same here. Always a comm i can’t validate, or a flaps down, entered runway without permission, or other violation I did not commit as well. NTM the Mission steps window is ALWAYS HUGELY in the way in VR in career mode, and ALWAYS comes back to the same spot after I move it. This and the other immersion breaking interface items should be integrated into the EFB or maybe a pilot cell phone or something that doesn’t break immersion and scream 1990 MSDOS…
So, many people with this problem and no single response from devs?

and again a perfect mission FU due career mode is broken.
Got taxi clearance to parking, followed the ribbons and then Got a take off clearance…
Why? This is no fun at all. Had to abort the mission and waisted again 2 h of my life. Is this so hard Asobo to fix? if you cant fix it just make it simple but this way you screwing things up
Again in su1 a failed mission in the pc24 medevac. Filed the plan could not get a landing clear because no response from atc.
After landing abort the mission because i got stuck
Yes i landed on the right airport and runway as filed. Seems that if atc fails the mission is stuck
I took off from an airport and reported clear of runway. Then the ai pilot told the tower i wanted to land. After that i could not connect with the ifr atc to continue mission. It just wanted me to land at same airport i took off from. I had to restart and avoid the clear of runway click box. Is this necessary to report anyway for vfr or ifr??
