ISSUE DESCRIPTION
Description of the issue:
I was flying a Medivac mission today in a C208 from Colorado to Bishop, CA and when I had the plane stabilized in flight…medical checks complete. The opportunity was presented to jump to the next phase of flight (ALT-N). When I did that it spawned me back into flight at low altitude over the arrival airport. This is a higher airport and the last waypoint was the VOR on the airfield. So I’m wondering if it’s using the last waypoint on the flight plan and placing the plane at some altitude MSL…but not taking account the elevation of the ground…so maybe the spawn altitude should be in AGL to avoid being too low to start a decent for approach. I had been cruising at 10,000 MSL and I think it spawned me in around 5000 MSL with a field elevation of just over 4100 MSL.
