Those are actual tanks near the runway. Moai aren’t in game at all. Shame, as they could have been THE easter (island) eggs 
I landed upwards on a hill, there, a d rolled backwards down to the ocean.
The “funniest” thing is that I gave myself the challenge to find some Moai without any help, so I first made a full tour of the island for nothing, looking for them, what a failure 
Really hope this will be fixed in the future !

They seriously should’ve hired like 10 more artists to work on landmarks… It’s a shame how many are missing from the game on launch.
Of course, there are so many fantastic structures in the whole world, country by country, region by region, town by town… we all have a sort of “top 100” things we want to see. It’s exponential. I’m sure (and really hope) a lot of these will be fixed in the future.
