Modifying available ground services at a specific gate?

Hello,

I have 2 payware airports (PAWG & PAPG) - These are smaller airports in Alaska.

I’m wondering if there is an “easy” way of editing the ground services to remove the Catering Truck and the Pushback vehicle?
Is there a line of code that can be edited / deleted so specific vehicles won’t be rendered?

The apron areas at these airports are pretty small even though Alaska Airlines does serve them with B737’s. I’d like to reduce the clutter and increase the taxi space available on the apron - IF POSSIBLE…

This would be the job of the Living World Config file, it controls what vehicles are used for various purposes. The Services.xml controls which service scripts are available and used for what.

Are you trying to change the services at different gates at the airport, or just applying the same rules to all gates at the airport?

To make it gate specific, I think you can control which services are used based on the type of gate it is, but I haven’t done that myself yet. So, in other words, a GATE_SMALL can be different from a GATE_HEAVY. You’d have to research the correct terminology to do this though.

The gate type in use at the specific airport I’m trying to adjust is the Large Ramp type. This has air stairs accessing the larger aircraft instead of jetways.

I’m trying to find a way to not have the Catering truck and pushback tug at the gate since the ramp is a bit tight for taxiing an a320.

I’m fine with all gates at a specific airport not having those specific vehicles- if such an option exists.

Yes, such an option exists. You have to create a Living World Config file for your airport, and remove those vehicles from the list.
