Just wanted to drop an opinion.
As said prior higher resolution means more workload however, I would not consider a monitor much over 32" @ 1080p at that point you start to “see the pixels” … anything larger/wider than 32" you really want to go up to 2k at 1440
Edit: I say this looking at a 31.5" 1080p and if my eyes were a few years younger I’d probably be kicking myself for not going 1440
