Good question. I also had an old rig, so I upgraded that too. Went with the AW 3090. I get a constant 40-45 fps with mostly high and some ultra settings (including clouds). Was worth the investment. I used to spend most of my time fooling around with tweaks, config files, etc. Now I just fly.
