What impact does the time of day of the observer have? Moonrise (in the East) vs Moonset (in the West).
At what point in the traversal from moonrise to moonset does the orientation change from “right way up” to “upside down”. Is the change sudden or gradual? At the half-way point between moonrise and moonset (moon directly overhead) how do you define “Up” and “Down”?
