I’ve downloaded the Garmin GNS530 manual and began following the instructions to set up a flight plan. However, the panel does not do what the instructions indicate.
You’re better off asking this question in the ‘Third party’ section of the forums.
Trying to use the default in-sim GNS based on the real world manual is a losing proposition. It doesn’t work as it should.
Do yourself a favour.

You’ll find that will line up much better with the actual user manual.

I have downloaded/installed the mod. For the life of me, I can’t figure out how to get data into the unit. It does not respond to the keyboard.
No it doesn’t. There are no key binds for it. You have to use the physical controls in the virtual cockpit. Press buttons and spin knobs as you would the real one.
