More airports in MS store version than in Steam?

Hello!

I have a question about the different versions of MSFS2020. I have the Premium Deluxe version bought from MS store and a friend of mine have the same version bought from Steam. We are doing a circumnavigation of the earth and I see so many times when we are trying to land at small airports that I have a lot more than him in my sim.

Here are a few examples from Canada:
CYXP
CYKG
CYVP
CYHA

I have all of these without having a specific scenery for them or for canada.
The only thing I have installed that does inject information to MSFS is Navigraph - he doesn’t have that, but that doesn’t add airstrips afaik.

So the only thing I can think is the difference is MS store vs Steam - Could this be right?

This can’t be the reason, or if it is, and not advertised to prospective buyers it’s pretty unethical.

It must be navigraph.

I actually did a test by first removing the whole community folder and launched the sim and the extra airstrips were gone - then reintrodused ONLY the Navigraph community folders and they returned. So YES! It is Navigraph. I really didn’t think they had actually airports in them. Thought they only introduced nav fixes.

Because it is not only the ICAO that is present - there is actually runways, lights and buildings following the airstrips.

I am baffled

Navigraph does add in airports with the lighting and runways and basic buildings for some airports missing in the base game’s database.
