Ok, I’m deff a FS 2020 newb (fine on DCS A10A and C Warthog btw ;)), so don’t kill me yet please!! I never had this issue before the Japan update, but… The mouse just stops working mid flight, no reason, and It’s sporadic, it can be used for some functions but not all, zoom disappears, works for other functions but not zoom. Works at the start of the flight, but on occasion goes awol towards the end, or perhaps even mid plan.
Also, the 350i, can someone help me with FLC mode, it just doesn’t seem work for me and I’ve been Youtubing this to death. VS mode fine, FLC mode not so fine 
Prob pilot error mind but any tips much appreciated!

I’ve had that. Fixed it by clicking randomly until it suddenly starts working again. I’ve also had the mouse cursor change into a double arrow and refuse to change back until I’ve clicked randomly in various places around the screen.
HW problem or simply some new incompatibility on Asobo side.
What mouse? Wired or other type? To what port connected or HUB? This is known problem from beginning so try maybe afind similar topics about HW problems. You need tell us better and clear infos about your HW in this case.
FLC is a strange function to use for me, but… if in a climb and FLC is activated, it will continue to climb at the speed that it was activated at or descend at the speed activated at. If you want to change the speed then use the SPEED knob to adjust desired speed. Understand that to descend with FLC you must reduce power or the aircraft may not descend, then adjust power to achieve speed and descent rate you want. Personally I climb with FLC and descend with VS.
If it’s bouncing up and down like a basketball while climbing, or swerving left and right like the pilot is wasted, that’s an issue with the sim, not you.
Hi it’s a wired Corsair M65 Pro RGB, plugged in to a 16 port powered USB hub. The mouse works fine in other sims / games, it’s only 2020 and only since the Japan update. I’ll try it with a few difference planes and see how it goes.

That same thing happens to sometimes, open your VFR map via the top menu not the v key and turn of and on the GPS tracking feature. This helps me.
