Anyone know ? A32NX for airliners and SC designs F16 ? Or is the aerosoft CRJ and dc designs jets better ?
I’m not into fighters, but there isn’t much difference quality/feature wise between the FBW A320nx and the Aerosoft CRJ’s.
On is a regional / short haul airliner, the other a medium range, so it’s more of what do you fly.
True to real life, the A320 has autothrottles, the CRJ’s do not.
I like them both.
Not much difference other than that.
Best aftermarket fighter is the F-14 or F-15 from DC Designs. I cannot comment on any small/medium/long haul commercial jet, because none of them in my opinion (exclude A320X-dont fly) are nearly complete. After SU6 & 7, the 787 and 747 got much better, as well as ATC, but still things in both are not perfect. FBW in 787 is still not close to Real Life and disengaging auto pilot in all is not working properly. I posted cold and dark 747 Checklist; you can check it out if wish. Lately my MSFS has been jerky, so not much fun to fly. I have not determined why it’s that way. Something in background is stealing GPU/CPU I think I know partly what, but reluctant to remove it now until I see if the next update will download and install. Good luck, you are going to get a wealth of opinions, but your call on what ones to get. Of note, many of the well-known vendors of planes, are holding off on release of same because it costs too much money to rewrite code every time patch/world update. Suspect (opinion) none of the truly study level planes will be available till very late this year or into 2023, regardless of what any release schedule says. Updates to many of the ones present now are hit and miss with exception of DC Designs who are johnny on the spot with fixes.
As update - I did take off the program which I thought was affecting MSFS and FSX, turns out FSX had just gotten wonky, so took off and reinstalled, which meant needed to reconfigure all the Honeycomb and Virpil stuff, which is finally done.
Have not yet gotten to MSFS maybe tomorrow if things work out, as had appointments, etc. all day today as well. Hope a patch is released soon to fix the wonky stuff.
Currently SC Designs (brother of DC Designs) F-16, it’s awesome, but the F-15 is getting a major update in January so we’ll see. The JF Hawk is also very well done, though not my cup of tea. I don’t fly air busses (there’s a reason they named the company Airbus, how many bus simulations are out there? yawn…).
